Mossy Creek Camp Meeting

The week following the fourth Sunday in July is reserved each year for Mossy Creek Campmeeting. Co-hosted by Mossy Creek UMC and Trinity, Mossy Creek Campmeeting meets at the Mossy Creek Campground on GA Hwy 254 in White County. It runs from 8:00 P.M. Monday through 8:00 P.M. the following Sunday. 

Special guest preachers and musicians lead worship twice daily - at 11:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M - in the main pavilion. Throughout the week there are special activities for children and adults like picnics, homemade ice cream contests, and water play/bouncy houses. 

Mossy Creek Camp Meeting may be a tradition that hearkens back to 1831, but it is as vibrant and spiritually fulfilling now as ever. Once you make this a part of your summer calendar, you will want to return every year for another week of food, Christian fellowship and worship, and fun with your brothers and sisters in Christ.
